Why does my launch control have so much wheel spin?

I have a RWD GT2. When I use LC I get a tremendous amount of wheel spin making it unusable. I am not at the track, just a road by my house in "Mexico". With my Dragy, I get better 0-60 times just holding the brake and launching that way.

I know I am doing LC correctly. I see the message launch control active. I am completely stock except for a BMS intake. Any ideas?

You answered your own question. You have 2WD and are on a non sticky surface. LC adds boost at launch, more boost, more power, wheel spin. If anything you're doing it right.

Make sure the tires are nice and warmed up. I rarely get wheel spin with mine unless the tires aren’t warm.
The one time it happened it was actually over 100 degrees out and the blacktop had pretty new asphalt

Need better tires. I hit 1.98 with good rubber not even warm, when they get older the 60ft times fall to 2.05 to 2.1 or worse.

Barely any spin on my RWD GT2. Check tires and pressure. Under/Overfilled tires will have less traction.
