• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Had Christmas Day off because I worked it last year. Worked today ( Boxing Day ) and it was Shit ! we were so busy we didn't get a lunch break.
Had to look after someone on contact precautions as she had acute Gastroenteritis ......Nice !!

I love rice paper rolls but I have to confess my eye was more drawn to the deep fried fish. Barramundi @ShannonC ?
Yes barramundi with oyster sauce, salt & pepper then deep fried until crisp.

Eew so food is not really a talking point at the moment.

Just finished my 4 shifts, Christmas is shit, the public ruin it every time. We got flogged, one of the busiest I’ve had on Christmas night. It amazes me that people who don’t get on with each other and haven’t seen each other for a year or more somehow think they they can get together for 1 day a year and get drunk, and then are genuinely surprised when it turns to shit and someone calls the cops. Seriously it’s not like you can’t see that coming. Bah Humbug, I’m going to bed.

I’m guessing there’s not much competition for the Associate Nurse Unit Supervisor positions?
There are five Anum's on our ward that cover most shifts but being we are subacute and our nurse/patient ratio's are higher, we are not in a purely supervising role.We have a patient load too. Which isn't easy at times, when our patients are ringing buzzers, we have the darn phones to carry and answer and the Doctors want you ( normally happens all at the same time )

Sorry Flame I was being facetious. Making a joke about the acronym that the Supervisors position would create as compared to the Manager’s acronym. :)
