The rush you get when stepping on the throttle is relative to what your used to. When I first test drove the Stinger GT2, I was blown away by the power. This continued for the first few months of ownership. I couldn't imagine needing more power. In fact after my first test drive, I think I had a headache from being thrown back into the seat. Well low and behold after several months it wasn't enough, and then I moved on to the piggy back chip. After a few months that wasn't enough. Needless to save I crave acceleration, not necessarily driving at high speed, however I would love to do that on the Autobahn one day. It's on my bucket list. The feeling of being thrown back into the seat, hearing the noise from the exhaust, and passing other cars with ease is addicting like a drug, and once you have it, you want more. At least that's my condition, and what I now realize is that adding another 50 hp with an ECU tune, over what I have with my 400 whp piggyback chip, is not going to cut it. I want that feeling of being thrown back into my seat not just from 0-40 as the Stinger offers, but from 0-100, let's say. In order to capture that from 0-100, I need a car that can run in the mid 10s, if not faster. The only way I see that happening with the Stinger is bigger turbos and more engine mods to support that. The whp I want is in the 600 range. I still love the Stinger, don't get me wrong, and I prefer it's looks over the Audi RS3, but in the next 2-3 years when I'm considering another car, unless Stinger can offer the power I want, then I might look elsewhere. Here's to hoping that the tuning gets to the point where this car can reliably put down 600hp to the wheels and the exhaust has the sounds that I crave (e.g burbles, pops and crackles). When it comes to the torque, the 500 lb-ft with the Racechip is awesome. I now only drive in Sports mode, RC on the highest map, with the throttle response on Race mode via the RC XLR, unless I have passengers. But then again, it's not enough.
