Which bolt on parts are safe before you begin to overboost? (no tune/jb4)

I've seen many popular stinger youtubers experience overboost because they have too many bolt on parts without a tune. I currently have hks plugs and the aFe intake coming in the mail and was wondering how much more I could do without running the risk of overboost. I've seen some threads stating it happened to them with just intakes + exh and some people are claiming they're borderline fbo with no overboost so I'm just unsure of what to do.

There really isn't any "formula" that can cause overboost. I was 100% stock and got overboost twice during last winter. I have since installed the afe intakes and haven't experienced overboost yet, but winter is just about here so I fully expect to get overboost if I'm not patient and allow my car to warm up fully before getting on the throttle. The one thing I have heard though is not to go full catless.

Yeah. Anything exhaust mods. Downpipes, catless, etc…

You're probably fine with with the intake, but as soon as you add to or modify your exhaust, you'll probably overboost. Also, any mods to your primary downpipes have been a surefire way to overboost. Not sure if the new plugs are needed until you add a JB4.

Yea for sure, I just bought the plugs for now because they were on sale and imma need them eventually. Thanks!
