Where can i buy a dead pedal?

Have we thought about getting some made? I know a bloke who runs a laser cutting business and I’m sure he’d be happy to quote me or maybe knock up a prototype if I could give him some detailed specs. Provided we’re not infringing on any copyright issues I suppose?

That sounds like a plan, remove your plastic one & get him to copy it or make a stainless steel overlay that looks the same as the brake & accelerator pedals.

Oh ok, that sounds easy. I didn’t even realise there was a removable plastic one on top of the pedal. I thought we might have to design our own. Shows how little I’ve looked around down there. Ok, leave it with me.

Has anyone been able to find the OEM dead pedal? I just recently bought the sports pedal set for my Premium, but like everyone else on here it only includes the brake & accelerator pedals!

Been looking for almost 2 years especially for RHD...they are Unicorns
For LHD they may be easier to source, you could also source totalled ones.

Thanks for the reply, I'm LFH, looking for totalled ones might be a good idea! You wouldn't happen to know any websites that might sell car parts like this?

I’ve seen some offerings on eBay, you could also try Craigslist.
 
You can't buy them anywhere. Been at kia dealership and asked for part number of dead pedal from stinger they had there and it had this dead pedal so by logic they should be able to find part number but they told me, they can only get whole set and part number is for whole set to. If I had the chance I would remove this pedal from the car just to see if there is part number on the back side but I couldn't do that. I think pedal has no part number at all as if it was there somebody would find it a long time ago and everybody would be offering it now but nobody does.

Yeah I think you're right! For some reason KIA decided to only sell us the brake and accelerator pedals and forgot to throw in the dead pedal in the official set.

The pedal can not be sold separately. This is from Mobis, the manufacturer. They only sell it as the whole carpet set.

I can only get brake and gas pedal, dead pedal is not included in this set. If you get this in your car from factory you can be lucky, if you don't nobody can help you. Let me know if you are interested in gas and brake pedal.

The dead pedal is only sold with the carpet assembly.
