Where’s My Boost At?

Mods: MBRP Catback, Ark Secondary Downpipes, AEM Intakes. GT2/Limited 3.3 AWD

Hello! So recently I’ve run into a problem where my car makes no boosts. It happens sometimes when I decide to drive spiritedly.

When I accelerated and it gets into the high RPMs, usually over 4K, the power cuts out as if I let off the gas and I get my usual intake “woosh” sound. After that happens, when I give it a lot of gas, it doesn’t build boost and give me the power and push it usually does. If I turn the car off and back on, it’s back to normal. It builds boosts again and I get the power previously.

I’ve checked some of the hoses and it seems okay, I might have a more in depth look at it when I have it in my condo garage this weekend. Any advice?


Ps. It’s also been very cold recently. Does that affect it at all?

Really?? I thought that only happens when you get primary downpipes. I’m a noob to mods if you couldnt tell...

I had mine do it with intakes a catback, j4 map 3 and like 18 degrees f lol. Logs showed 0 boost under load and no check engine lights.
