Good evening everyone,
Had a few questions that I’m hoping I can get some insight from current owners and not outdated YouTube/random webpages.

I have a 2023 GT2 RWD in Ascot Green.

1. I’m looking to get the eibach front and rear sway bars to help reduce the body roll I’m feeling in the corners. I’m also looking to adjust the suspension and was wondering what people’s opinions were on coilovers vs. lowering springs? If springs are the go to, then I’ll be looking at eibach pro-plus kit. Otherwise I’ll just get the sway bars and start doing research on coilover brands.

2. With the above said, I’m also looking at getting a new wheel and tire setup, but honestly have no clue where to start. I’ve looked on fitment industries to get some references but still unsure on all the numbers and how the (either lowering springs or coilovers) will effect what size wheels I can put on without rubbing.

3. If I do the above with coilovers, how necessary are the adjustable camber arms/ what other miscellaneous things should I look into getting to make sure I have minimal issues with alignment and can account for the added cost?

Basically I’m looking at filling the tire well gap to have a sportier look and adjusting the suspension for a more controlled feel. I would like the setup to be flush and not worried about rubbing.

Apologies if this is rambling but I’ve been browsing the forums and attempting to retain the loads of information in here. TIA!!

LOL... I was going to offer some help until I got to this line. If that's your priority, then that drives the rest of your setup. Suspension tuning is about compromises. If you setup primarily for looks, other attributes will suffer.

Personally, I couldn't care less about wheel gap or no wheel gap, since my priority is to make the suspension work well for HPDE.

Great input, I can see why you’re in the 1000 posts club!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Volfy is one of the smartest and most educated people on this forum you can learn a lot from him if you pay attention
If he gave any input toward the questions maybe I could! Instead he chose to take a dig at how somebody else chooses to build their car, and glazes himself for doing HPDE. Maybe I missed a reply where he gave more info toward the questions?

When I had this discussion with a local wheel and tire shop, they said that coilovers are the way to go for obtaining handling improvements and tuning. The Stinger has no camber adjustment in front. Coilovers take care of that. I have nothing to say about lowering for looks either. If it improves cornering then it justifies itself. If not, then don't do it in my opinion. I guess I did say something after all. Hah. I do know this, the lower you go the more crap will hit your car. It's only a matter of time.
