Wheel lights...Cool or tacky?

As a safety device for bicycles I can see the benefit, for cars... no.

That being said I ordered these off ebay for my daughter's bike, came in a set of 4, none of them worked.

I would love to have lights under my car and in the wheel wells for car shows but don't think I'd drive around with them on. But that's just me being 45 and remembering when Neon car kits first came out in the 90's

I think they were designed for the Australian market ...........................keep the 'roos away at night :whistle::whistle::whistle::laugh: , one of our Aussie mates should givem a go !

YES!!! I had purple ones under the car all around. I had a buddy who had 3 different colors all around, but it was literally 3 different sets of neon all the way around the car. It was cool!!

Well, until 2019 (or even 2009) when you're thinking... dude 3 full sets of neon all around, really?!

I had purple as well on a 1992 Saturn. Now I want full rgb led

@MrSmoofy ... mine were on a sweet slightly used 1986 baby blue Toyota Camry hatchback. Let's just say I was a glowin' and a bumpin'!!

Yeah, today's light tech still has me going "whoa, nice"!

Yes sir! I had 4 kicker 12's and a 800 watt USAMPS pushing 200 to each reflecting off the hatch window. I say "what" a lot when I'm in conversation now days...I wonder why.

Let's just say, when I bought the Stinger, the hatch brought back some memories...:geek:

...those were the days!! Simple stuff like neon, bass, and babes. Now things are so complicated.

Tacky AF. Also, possibly illegal. I had a set of red valve stem lights on my mini-truck in HS (sounds cooler than it was) and was pulled over. Apparently Georgia has a law against any flashing lights on road vehicles. Especially those in colors that mimic emergency or construction vehicles (red, blue, white, amber).

Cool, if you're installing them on your Huffy.

Roos are attracted by light. This would only confuse them as they wouldn't know whether to jump you from front or the side.
