Check with your state's DMV. Here in NJ there's an online site that allows you to check what's available. Even if something appears to be available, it may be disallowed if deemed offensive. I've also has requests rejected because I tried to use a number to represent a letter, so "5TINGER" (where I used a five in place of an "S") might not be approved.
I found out in my state you cannot look up available vanity plate options but fortunately I know someone at th dmv that will look them up for me. Here is the list I gave her to check for my yellow limited edition.
Means “mother bear” in Korean. My Suburban already has GOM (bear) and my wife would like this plate on the Stinger. Nothing to do with the Stinger, but it’s Korean.
I was thinking of changing... But I am going to keep my current - GRUAQT (pronounce each letter in turn, everyone always asks me what "Gruaqt" means).
It still applies as the Stinger sure is a Cutie!

I have my disabled vet plates already, but if I could do a personalized plate, I would have to put FINALLY on it, as it's a been a struggle to get the one I wanted lol.
My old vanity plate was GITUSUM on my turbo '95 Civic back in the day. Embarrassed quite a few people in a 400+hp car that weighed barely over 2500lbs
