What's a safe/aggressive rim offset?

I'm in search for some rims and I want a wider/more aggressive look with the stock 225/40/19 fronts and 255/35/19 rears. I'm scared that there wont be clearance for the brembo's and I dont want to rub, as I plan on lowering maybe 0.75"-1.00"

What's the lowest offset I could possibly run? Any help/advice would be very appreciated.

A common change for the stock staggered 19s is to add 20mm spacers all around, which pushes the tires roughly flush with the fenders. That's the equivalent of dropping the front offset from +34 to +14, and the rear from +46.5 to +26.5.

I would not consider that an aggressive change, and think it would look pretty good with a 1" drop.

Do you think that’s a great safe route, or could I go higher mm in spacers?

I would start there. Any more and the outer edges of the tires will start poking out a bit. Some people like that, but others don't as it'll fling dirt/water, and you're more likely to rub once you lower. You should be able to find before/after pictures of that offset as well, since it's probably the most common.

As suggested, do NOT go more than 20mm on the spacers.

Additionally, I would not lower the car as many have had alignment and resultant tire wear issues - do a search and see for yourself.

Granted it won't look as good, but small price to pay for peace of mind knowing you don't have a self-imposed suspension problem.

I got used to the stock ride height:
