I called my dealership to order my fuse box recall part, but since I did that, I've done a little work, little modification to the car. I'm curious what peoples' opinions are about removing aftermarket parts when going in to get recall work done. I don't anticipate it happening much (at least I hope not), but was just curious. Some items in particular I'm curious about:
  • CAI
  • FMIC
  • Catback Exhaust
  • JB4 (think this is pretty obvious yes)
  • AirScoops
  • Since it's fuse work, I have my dashcam hardwired to the driver side fuse panel
That's really the extent of what I'm looking to do, just curious about different perspectives of what to remove before a dealership service. The dealership where I purchased the car (further away), the salesman showed me his own Stinger which made it seem like they were more open to mods, but I have no idea about the Kia dealership closer to my home.

I think you've pinned it down to the dealership. If you have good reason to believe that a given dealership is openminded and fair, then your short list of mods isn't going to affect this TSB on the fuse box. Otherwise, just remove the piggyback stuff and cross your fingers and be pleasant. :D

Just JB4 out. Unless you have a fancy FMIC with shiny charge pipe.
