What the heck are these for?

So basically no one here knows what they're REALLY for, right? ;)

Seriously, there are clothes hangers/coat hangers built into the rear grab handles, just inches away from these things. And given the angle, you couldn't hook a coat hanger on them anyway. Now, maybe a light jacket with a loop sewn into the neckband might hang there okay, but you'd probably close the door on it.

I have to assume they're there for some odd and sinister reason we have yet to discover. Maybe I can find a Korean person who can shed some light on this.

It is a coat hanger, I hang a rain coat there using the loop works fine :)

Well, I have both kinds, just about a foot apart. I could hang four raincoats in my back seat area. Maybe I should start a raincoat hanging concession back there.

Shopping bags. :D I use the hooks inside the handles over the rear passenger seats for coat hangers. I've never actually used these hooks for anything, yet.
I miss hooks inthe trunk for bags to hang on. cuz if i "floor it" in sports. i have to stand half into the trunk and pick together the bags again since stuff rolled out :D

Don't you use your cargo net ?

didnt come with one.
Oh, well that's a bit shit ! we opened the boot after bringing the car home and our 10 yr old son asks " what's in that bag ? ", so we opened it up and there was a cargo net. It's not brilliant by any means as it lays flat on the bottom but it does tend to keep upstanding shopping bags in place.
My daughter's Mitsubishi has an upright one in her boot, more practical because she can put things inside it and know they won't roll out.

I didn't know about that net until it was mentioned on this forum. I did check to see if it was there. Haven't used it yet.

I think only GT2 comes with a cargo net (MY18, don't know about subsequent MYs). I didn't get one.

The open secret to keeping stuff from rolling around is to keep your hatch floor full. :laugh:DSC08451.webp

I think those type of airbags are non-functional....purely for aesthetics.

If you're talking airbags of the female persuasion, uh, I've got nothing wrong with aesthetics. :p

My GT1 (MY19) has one, stored with the spare tire, but I have yet to use it.

I think you are supposed to string up your weed plants there for drying.. where it's legal of course.

The GT2 doesn't doesn't come with the cargo net, it's a dealer add-on available on any trim
In AUS it's standard on GT(2), MY18.
