I think the title just about hits the mark...

Looking at getting catch cans (or a single) for some strange reason....

If you're not in a hurry we're working on a new OCC solution for the vehicle that is a little different than what others have done.

Good to know, I’ll wait for yours. I have your intakes coming:)

I have the SXTH Element cans. I got the dual can set up but you probably only need PCV, the other can barely catches anything.

I'm not, but it better not delay getting RED Billet Strut Cross Braces back in stock!

I got the Tork Motorsport OCC and I picked those because they look completely stock when on the car. You can barely even notice them.

Two generic chinese cans with modifications (added some steel wool and filter material). Total $40 or so.

Can you elaborate at all on timing or any of the differences on what sets yours apart. Would be willing to wait if it's not too long or the differences are desirable vs competitors but I dont want to wait forever. With about 4500mi on the clock and weather starting to be nicer here I was hoping to get something on the car this spring.

You can check out our ADD W1 V3 (Single or Dual Can Setup) as well as the ADD W1 V3.3 (Dual Inlet Setup) on our site below:

ADD W1 V3 Single Catch Can Setup - K8 Stinger Store

ADD W1 V3 Dual Catch Can Setup - K8 Stinger Store

ADD W1 V3.3 Dual Inlet Catch Can Setup - K8 Stinger Store

All of the above will include everything needed for the install on the Kia Stinger

Let us know if you have any questions about any of them.

You might want to change the title and description of the product for the v3.3 can because technically it is dual outlet one inlet. You vent the breather side to atmosphere with a filter, then you run the PCV to the Can in the offset port and then run the 2 parallel ports with the check valves to the two intake ports. I verified this with ADD W1.

They only thing that will most like likely set his apart is that it will say BMS lol ....or he could claim a HP gain jk. Oil catch cans are pretty common. They all serve the same purpose. If you want a stock oem like finish, just buy the Tork OCC. If you want a high quality occ that looks good and it’s more noticible than the Tork then get the 6th element ones. I seen the 6 th element in person and they look great.

I've got the ADD W1 V3 dual catch can setup. Did a little review on it with pics. It's been running great so far, but catches a lot less than I anticipated with my elevated boost levels *shrug*

I have the SXTH Element OCCs IMO they look Amazing. Easy to dump and like it was mentioned you really only need the PCV side. Mine have been in for about 2 months and hasnt really caught anything on the intake side. The PCV side has a good amount every couple weeks.

Interesting observations re the different locations. My understanding is that under low load when the intake manifold is under vacuum, manifold is pulling through the PCV from the crankcase. For most this will be what state the car is in 99% of time and would make sense that this collects a decent amount of oil.

Under boost, the pcv closes and vacuum from the intake should be pulling blowby from the breather port. In theory this boosted situation is when more blowby is produced and I would think you would see a fair amt of oil in the breather side can.

It may just be a case of significantly more miles/time spent flowing though the pcv side coupled with a bunch of fresh newer motors that are still well sealed. Will be interesting to see if the pcv volumes start to I crease as the cars age a little more.

The pcv catch can is on passenger side correct? Is it a pita to install?

Very easy. The hardest part is putting the new hose on the intake port on the breather(drivers) side. It is at a bad angle and a PITA to screw on the clamp.
