Hell, yes! Proudly so. As an American muscle car fanatic since childhood, and a Mustang GT driver of 33 years, I'm all too familiar with the provincial attitude that only American or German cars are legitimate performers. Heck, the self-proclaimed car experts in America even like to fight with each other as to whether Ford, Chevy, or Mopar is the only legit make of vehicle, lol (you see those stupid Calvin cartoon decals peeing on other marques a lot). Insufferable BMW and Merc owners are always pounding their chests as if every one of them is a European racing god. "Rice rocket" is every know-nothing's favorite insult. And many Stinger owners do everything they can to expunge the Kia brand/badges from their cars because they are embarrassed to be driving a Korean brand. Oh, some say the Kia badges are "ugly." Ugly is in the eye of the brand-conscious beholder, but many are afraid of what people think. They want the exotic badge to go with the exotic perception. I embrace the anomaly. Here is an Asian car made by a commuter car specialist that can likely kick your car's ass, and ain't that great? What I hear all the time: "Wow! That's a Kia?"

My youngest son's car was named Little Red. His sister killed it (ran the radiator dry and fried the engine, otherwise, I think it would still be running; it was a bulletproof little Corolla!).
