What free gift did you get with your car?

Nope. I bought my 2018 towards the end of 2019… and got the headphones.

No way I was in the first 10k
I remember now: the original skuttlebutt was "first 10,000": then people reported getting the headphones after that number of US sales was passed: and the revised figure was first 15,000 buyers (all rumor only): after that the subject seemed to drop. This is the first time in two years that I've seen it mentioned.

a cargo net, an UVO subscription for one year, tank of gas.

Tank of gas, really nice leather bound day planner with stainless steel pen (super nice) that matches the manual one in the glovebox, oem ventvisors, trunk liner and cargo net...they treated me well by the sounds of it. I didnt even ask my trade in had oem visors and they just added them in. Almost forgot...a KIA travel mug.

oh, i also got free scuffs on top when they took the white wrapping off. probably could be buffed out, but i dont own such equipment. the dealership was supposed to put in a work order to fix it somehow, but i never heard from them again, and i hate going to the dealership, so i live with it.

You could take out a couple of scuffs with rubbing compound and maybe some patience; then polishing compound to finish up.

I got the free tank of gas (which sounds pretty common), 2 dealer Kia stainless steel travel tumblers, a handful of dealer key chains, a free water. The first oil change is supposed to be free AND they said they would fill my tank with fuel when I bring it in for the first oil change (which I thought was pretty cool). It will be on fumes when I bring it in.
Also got a nice hand written "Thank you" note in the mail from the salesman thanking me for my business about 2 weeks after the sale. I thought that was a nice touch. Dealer Lot.jpg

Sounds good if you want a tank full of the cheapest gas money can buy. I’d pass.

The tires were pumped up to 55psi.

I got a “gong show” with a “oh she’s a jolly good fellow” sing along and an escort out the door.

Headphones from Kia. Nothing from dealership.

Red Book & Headphones from Kia. I also collected as much of the dealership pamphlets, flyers & the one magazine I could for 2018 MY.
