What free gift did you get with your car?

Like I said before Kia already gave me a gift...They have engineered an awesome car. Amazing they decided not to build another boring soccer mom Camry Accord and decided to build a enthusiast car. Thank you Kia!

Sounds like a fun thread.

I got 3 extra points on my loan. Rectified within days by refinancing. So much for "you must make at least 3 payments" spiel from the finance mgr.

Stinger ball cap, which I had to beg for. And of course corporate sent me the headphones, which I"ll never even take out of the box.
And I use my headphones every day; in fact, right now, I am listening to Basil Poledouris's Conan the Barbarian score. :D

I had a 2018 and I got a Harmon Kardon headset and a Stinger water bottle that fit in my cup holder spot.

Drove off the lot with a brand new GT2 for 13k under sticker soooo yeah…I’ll consider that a gift. No headphones, hats or water bottles though .

^^Isn't that customary? Every new car i've bought in the last 2 decades included a tank of gas. It's built into the price/fees somehow.

Really, this car at this price, slightly under MSRP when other dealers are gouging and there is a shortage, no extra 'freebies' are expected. They did throw in some of the extras like floor mats, wheel locks, and so on. They didn't give me the free swirl marks - those came with freeway driving before I had a chance to ceramic coat it. :D

I got a few drops of gas left in the tank and nothing else when I bought it.

I got free puddle lights. Didn't even know the car had them until the first night I got it home. I was basically the last one in the dealership so they didn't have time to wash my car (luckily based on the stories in this thread) and I think they overlooked a few things. I later found one of those dealer "add on" stickers they attach to the MSRP sticker in the back seat for like 2k of extras including a "ceramic coat," puddle lights, and nitrogen filled tires. None of which was added to the negotiated price. Probably just oversight but hey, I'll take it.

I got some free coffee and snacks. Got about a 80% full tank of gas. I got some bottles of water to take home. I got a free license plate bracket from the dealership which I put on backwards since I don't like advertising stuff for no reason. That's about it... lol

Has anyone who has bought a car since, I guess the pandemic started, gotten a free gift? On my '18 I got the headphones. I'm now 3 months into ownership of a '22 Scorpion and sort of figured I would be getting something even cooler since it's a special edition model and have not received anything yet. Maybe they don't do that anymore?

I got jack crap from them and I gave my salesperson an engraved carbon fibre pen to commemorate his first sale. Cost me a couple hundred. Se la vie.

The complimentary headphones were only to the first c. 10K buyers in 2017-18.
