What do you think about this?

On the EV front, both Tesla and Toyota have stated that the infrastructure required for charging EV vehicles is not up to the task. Now considering Tesla in particular, but also Toyota wanting to move into EV, you know there is a problem when the manufacturer of goods states that they can't sell you enough of them because it won't work.
Yup, and the fact there's 3 standards and only certain standards for fast charging, certain adapters for conversion, but no adapters for other conversions, etc.

The EV issues we're seeing (as well as, say, Texas's less than awesome private power grid) is an example of where regulation and centralization are a good thing. Capitalism is all about out-competing the competition, but doesn't account for ruining the very market you're competing in as long as you made a buck doing it.

Now, you wait one second!

You wouldn't hit it?

To put it simply, if a 2 door coupe is available to meet my requirements, that will always be #1 choice. If cars did go extinct and only SUVs, vans and trucks existed, the short list of SUVs I want but cannot afford would start with the Porsche Macan Turbo, and Audi RSQ8, not sure which order lol.

There's a very strong chance that will be the transition solution between combustion and electric. Once scaled for mass consumption, the algae solution will be about as cheap as oil/gas is right now. The issue is the scaling part - to produce that much oil is going to require HUGE farms. Someone is going to have to bet big with massive investments in something everyone knows is only transitional/temporary.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I am of an age where I have enjoyed the improvements of the ice with a manual transmission culminating, for me, with the Stinger. I see this as my last car - it is also the only car that I purchased brand new.
I don't use the paddle shifters on the stinger at all and drive in Smart mode most of the time for my daily driving.
On occasion I will turn on sport mode for a short time - I do not want to incur the wrath of any "popo" hiding around the place with a radar gun!
That said, I will probably not see a time when anything but ice is in the majority. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far with the cars I have had the privilege of driving. Long may it last.

I wonder if using this algae solution will reduce MPG and/or performance or come with longevity plus reliability problems...

Yup, all questions to be answered. It should be a 'cleaner' burn, so the deposit issues might be gone. But I'm wondering like you if there's things we're not thinking about.
