What did you pay for tint.? How dark did you go?

Hey, sorry, I didn't get a chance to drop by the car park to get the receipt yesterday.

So... I was completely wrong about the film. In the receipt, it says all windows are tinted with S5 films. Though I remember them to tell me S7 was installed on some panels, I got no proof for you to show your dealer. Sorry about that.

Anyhow, if it helps, the tint costs 320,000 won. I also got 'glass' coating that costs 350,000 won with a guarantee of 1 year.

Perhaps @xot1 can contribute. Did you get any complementary films, coatings, cams from your dealer?

I paid $310 for 45% ceramic 3m tint all around, lifetime warranty and I've been using the same place since 2003 and never had a problem with their installs. I recall they did 35% on my 2012 Optima and the 45% on the Stinger actually looks darker than the Optima, so maybe the Stinger has a higher factory tint than the Optima did. Or the fact the interior is a lot darker and I don't have dual sunroofs letting light inside

nope, no tint on the sunroof. I think the glass is dark enough by itself.

Wow you people really overpay for window tint! It could be the area I live (Maryland/DC area), but I've NEVER paid more than $150 for high quality tint on any of my vehicles including my Stinger. $120 for 20% sides and rear. According to my installer the factory tint is 50% and with the 20% he added would read around 15 to 17% on a tint meter.

The red looks so much better with tinting done. I wasn't a fan of it with clear windows. Makes me wanna go out there and heavy tint my white to give it the contrast.

hey all.. I have a white gt2 coming and am thinking of tinting the driver/passenger windows.. anyone in Alberta tinting there windows and what did you pay? And how dark.. I don’t want the fuzz on me Steady.. but I have had 2 retina detachment surgeries so maybe I can get a doctors note? Lol.

I had my tint and Hydrophobic PPF (Suntek) done at Shadow tint in Calgary, Marco is the guy to talk to, he charged me 1800 tax in to have the whole front nose, Lights, Front dark chrome, Hood including fake vents, Side Dark Chrome, side fenders, Widow supports, Mirrors, top glass, runners on both sides curled inside the door wells, half way up the rear fenders, door handles and bumper/hatch area - 10 year warranty.

The tint was all windows 20 percent - Life time warranty (good stuff) Galaxy i think its called.

I got 20% off with the bundle.

No offense to anyone but I was going to say the same thing and never paid more than $120. Maybe it’s because I still get “in the business” pricing since I goto the same shop as when I sold Subaru’s, but agree that $120 for film or $250 for ceramic tint is the most I’d pay.

I got 15% High Quality film on 5 windows & front window strip with lifetime warranty for $120.

Paid $400 for 15% 3M ceramic all around and 70% 3M Crystaline on the windshield. Lifetime warranty.
