Due to an unfortunate accident with a deer my stinger is now bound once more for the salvage auction. RIP Been a good couple of years, will miss it. Sure was a journey with this car. Just a reminder that nothing lasts forever and metal is replaceable. Managed to pull off a couple of parts before insurance claimed it.

Ark SFX carbon fiber hood. Very good condition, surprised it didn't get damaged. - $1.2k

BMS engine strut braces Red, the coating is worn off in some places. -$120

Tuxmat V1 front and rear floor mats RWD. Missing a few clips -$140.
OEM all weather trunk cargo tray -$90
Pierburg 7.22908.03.0 Electric Switch Over Valve -$25
Mando ECS10 unit with missing signal connector, tried to contact Mando to get the connector to no avail. -$?
Spool ethanol dongle, didn't get to pull off the sensor itself -$?
Also have Mishimito Front mount intercooler in the box, never installed. No couplers, just the FMIC. -$250
Stock parts: intercooler, merge pipe, charge pipes, intakes, mid pipes, stock exhaust with active cutouts, transmission cooler, exhaust tips, trunk tray cover, front and rear sways and endlinks, and probably some other misc parts if anyone is interested.

Seriously, how could a mere deer make your Stinger bad enough to not repair it? Did your heart die when you thought of what it would take to redo the rebuild?

The deer managed to mess up my front wheels and I was on my way into a ditch. A tree was there to finish the job. Thankfully I was pretty much fine. Once I got out I saw the frame damage and knew it was a parts only car. Engine still ran but the frame was damaged pretty good. Surprised the trunk managed to open.

Yeah had to fight my insurance provider a little bit since it's a rebuilt title and those get paid out pennies on the dollar. Eventually got it closer to a fair value. Full coverage is a must with pretty much any car worth over $10k in my opinion.

It is a real mish intercooler but it's ONLY the intercooler. No clamps, no pipes, so getting it to actually mount to a OEM setup will be a challenge. It was a warranty replacement that I never got the chance to put on. My original came with one of the end connecting pipes cracked and busted. I just clamped the coupler over it and sent it. Figured it would leak a little bit but I would replace it when the replacement came. It never leaked

Holy crap, that's ten times worse than the original front end damage that you bought for c. $12K. Let us know what happens next for a ride, so that I can have closure.

Yeah I was the only occupant, no passengers thankfully.
I still had a bit of momentum after the deer. Don't recall how much but it was enough to bounce me off the tree and not rest against it. Surprised the front airbag didn't go off.

General's fatal encounter (to the car, who cares a damn about the damned deer!?) had his name written on it. But seriously a 2.3% reduction if we stayed on DST year-round is hardly significant in this "shooting gallery" that we are negotiating yearly. Even in the city - Salt Lake County, aka "Salt Lake City" generally - which has c. 1.2 million people in it, I see deer within walking distance of my house almost yearly, and I've seen two dead deer on 9000 South and Old Bingham Hwy within the last five years, so, literally this can happen anywhere. I'm just flabbergasted at that number, 2.1 MILLION per year: any amount of reduction to the risk is worthwhile, in my opinion. Utah is quite possibly going to permanent DST within this next cycle.
