Well I just S the bed (maybe engine blown)

Finally got the Stinger towed to my house and everything passes the eye test under the hood.

Turned it on and the thing was shaking and clicking and puffing white smoke. And the engine light was finally on along with the red oil light. I quickly connected the JB4 app and clicked to read for codes but none showed up so I quickly shut it all down.

Tow guy looked at the dipstick and said it doesn't look like it's too short on oil but hey he's no mechanic.

When I was driving yesterday before all this happened, I set the JB4 to 0 and then 1-3 (since it has ethanol per usual) but nothing seemed to change anything about the clicking/ticking. Gas tank almost full too. While I've overdone the ethanol in the past and then over-boosted to limp with check engine light, that hasn't happened in forever.

Dash cam footage wasn't as dramatic as I remembered the actual event yesterday, just some white smoke from front and back with shaking and then the engine dying. I swear I was lucid yesterday and saw more! But oh well

More to come this week...

I knew I should've gone into debt buying the 2023 limited edition final model.

Check the compression

The oil light basically indicates low oil pressure. Engine would need to be very low on oil to trip the oil light. The humble dipstick is your best friend.

I’ll be changing mine next week in a few days. I have about 300 miles left until rec. service. This is why I have 115,000 miles and zero issues.

(I just jinxed myself I know it)

Do your pretend Porsche a favor and change early. GDI-T engines are the Barbie girls in the domestic automotive verse.
Had me rolling, in spite of giving me a horrible earworm. Thanks!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

wide angle footage/camera's never show what the actual smoke/ shake looks like... just like driving quickly through corners look slow on dashcam

White smoke bad.

It’s the compression ratio. Your tune is f*cking you over, it’s giving you too much air and not enough fuel.
