WeatherTech FloorLiners for the 2018 Kia Stinger have been released in Canada

Awesome. I looked for these earlier. Didn't see the custom cargo liner there yet, just the cut to fit ones. Maybe I overlooked it but I'm sure it will be here soon.

Maybe I overlooked it

Their website has probably not yet been updated.
The above is a personal e-mail I received a few hours ago from WeatherTech because I had registered for the product previously...

Good to see that the Weathertech product has finally been released. I looked for something from them after I bought the car, but I ran across and purchased the Tuxmat products, and still prefer them to what I see here. The Tuxmats look so nice in there that I may end up leaving them in the car over the summer as well. :p

However, these Weathertech mats are decent looking, and still a lower cost alternative to the factory mats.

I'm with you. I just sold my Elantra with the generic weather tech mats and handed them the pristine factory mats. The generic mats are not as good and I still had a couple of salt stains.

So you like the Tuxmats over the custom Weathertech's? I notice neither has anything for the hatch yet. Price is similar, Tuxmats a few $ cheaper I think.

Yes, the Tuxmats (to me) have a nicer appearance, and a softer almost padded look and feel - the Weathertech products have a harder, more industrial appearance to them. Coverage should be good for both of them as they are custom fit to the car, but to me the Tuxmat product looks like it belongs in there.

For the cargo area, I purchased the OEM mat from the dealer a couple of weeks ago. It's a perfect fit, has the Stinger logo, molded indents on the edges for the Stinger cargo hooks, and as a pleasant surprise it also has a great non-slip surface that I didn't expect - so things stay put. Price was quite reasonable at around 120 dollars (for a custom fit OEM piece), and it would have been considerably more expensive to purchase online.

Good to know. I'm dealing on a car right this minute, enjoying the dealer slow play...

Wish me luck.

I just went with the dealer installed Kia floor liners front & rear. In my opinion they look less "industrial" than either the Weathertech or Tuxmat products and integrate well with the interior. Hell, they even say "Stinger" on them.

They're basically the same product that I had in my Sonata for the last 4 years. Those stood up very well . My only complaint is that they were a pain in the ass to remove for cleaning and the Stinger ones appear to hook in the very same as the Sonata's did, so I will have that annoyance to look forward to. Like K-Rock above, the unused factory floor mats were in the trunk of the Sonata when I traded it for the Stinger.

I think I'm going with the Tuxmat. Salt is brutal in Ontario. BTW I'm a transplanted Saskie :)
