Great question. And you might want to think about doing that before you go out to try reproduce the problem. If that tranny drops at high speed you could end up being on a ride you don't necessarily want to be on. Or worse
So your saying the possible cause of vibration is from tranny that has not been properly fastened? I struggle to fathom how such a thing could happen during production.

Not saying that's what it is! Don't have a clue what it is. However whatever it is I'm not the idiot that's going run er up to 100 to try figure it out.
To be fair, the person that happened had recently had the driveline disconnected from the car to service the rear diff correct? Wasn't more of a maintenance failure than a production failure?

I don't remember that detail. Thread lock was missing on the bolts; the service guys confirmed this during the "autopsy"; implying that the fault was originally Kia's, i.e. a production fubar. Transmission just blew up.
I just got back from my brother’s Lexus dealer. As soon as he put it up on the lift, I saw the major issues!!
I am very disappointed in what I saw, but relieved at the same time!! Like I said prior, the car only has 16,010 miles on it as of today. Well, the problem is the rear tires! There is a separated belt, and cords coming through on the right rear tire! Not to mention, the tires are trashed with no tread more then I realized! I guess when I was looking at the car from a visual aspect in the driveway... the issues where not apparent due to positioning of the tire. I spoke with my brother about it and he said the tires have had an internal issue that is not from mis- alignment or any other issue! I am extremely disappointed because of the miles that are on the car!! Also, in addition... the Pro Tuner was added to the vehicle around 7K Miles, and when I say that I don’t DOG THE CAR!! I Am very serious!!! I haven’t even really gone WOT until the car shifts from 2nd or 3rd and the tires are warm! All I can say is, these tires suck as far as longevity!!!!! I am making decisions now on what to do! Don’t know if I want to go through this every 16k miles! I can’t even imagine what would have happened if I beat the crap out of the car!!!!!
I was thinking of a rim and tire package, however I must not back step in handling characteristics! I am a guy who loves corners and this car can negotiate them absurdly well with the Eibach full kit and the Stock pilots!!! Open for any comments or any suggestions on a comparable tire that can devour curves like these Michelin’s it comes with!
There is no “internal issue” on the tires if you are running the pilot sport 4 tires. 16k is pretty good as far as wear. You wore them way beyond what I’d consider a safe amount.
it’s more shocking that you don’t visually inspect your tires more often.
even more so as they are supposed to be rotated (even side to side for staggered) at 6k... at which point they should be checked for wear.
They separate when someone used worn tires well after they should have been replaced. Again, these tires typically go 12-15k before needing to be replaced.
simply looking at the tires shows how badly worn they are. That isn’t a defect. It’s called wear from use.
Yea, I know.... however. The stock Stinger in any trim to my knowledge will not break loose much even with launch mode! This is because Kia Engineers have incorporated this into the ECU software parameters to tone Back Tq at certain parameters to lessen drivetrain shock.
Lap3USA has absolute ability to unlock some of the tq. Parameters inside ECU... that is why they make so much power with lower boost then anyone! Safely might I say!! And just because you have A fast 1/4 mile run.... doesn’t mean safety is key! I have said this time after time after time on multiple posts!!
