I posted this problem about a week ago but didn’t get any responses. 2022 Stinger, the UVO Calendar feature just disappeared.
My question, does anyone have this Calendar feature working? if so have you installed the April updates?

Been working with UVO support for almost 2 weeks. They can’t get the feature back, stumped but trying.

(From all menus, select UVO. Second icon from left is Calendar. Selecting it shows 2 days of events from your iPhone calendar. It’s shown on page 8-4 of the Car Infotainment Quick Reference Guide )

Please help if you have UVO

Sorry, no help from me but just chiming in to say the lack of responses is probably due to there being very few people here with the new updated 2022 infotainment with real uvo link.

Thanks for your response, I gather that the 2021 Stinger and other KIA models didn’t have this version of UVO? No wonder UVO support is struggling with this issue. Think I need to go to a KIA forum, other models have this UVO version I believe.

So I came here to ask about this same issue on my 2022 GT1. I can connect the UVO app on my Android to the calendar successfully, meaning I can see the events in my UVO Android app from my calendar just fine. When I try to use the calendar on my infotainment system, however, I get "no events." I'd been planning to call UVO support on this, but your story makes me less hopeful. I'll let you know if I get it sorted, and I'll watch this thread for other ideas.

It sounds like you at least have the Calendar icon under UVO features? My calendar icon is completely gone after I installed the April 2021 update. Have you done the update that became available in mid April? It’s map and 4 other updates including the System software.

Also I don’t see any place in my KIA app to see my calendar events. I have an iPhone but don’t see why the android would show calendar events but not the iPhone? If you don’t mind could you tell me where in your KIA app do you find your calendar events?
Thanks

You are correct, I see Calendar in UVO menu and as a split screen option on the infotainment system too - I just don't see events in there like I do in my app. I bought the car on 5/31/21 and have not applied any updates, though the April update might be in there already. What the version number?

As for the app, here's what it looks like on the main screen. That "Weekly pipeline" thing under "Upcoming Events" in the middle is from my calendar:

I will try to send pictures of my screen. But Software version ends in 210503. previous version I think was 210490.
thanks for your info, very helpful.

Thanks for the info. I attached pictures of the version info from my Stinger screen. There was also a May update that I also installed just a couple days ago - it didn’t bring my Calendar icon back. I bet you don’t have the April update since support is telling me that is what deleted it? Interest to see if that’s the case.

Another System update. Installed it and I now have my Calendar icon back. However when selected it gives message “No Linked Calendar. Link the calendar using the UVO app on your mobile phone” . No such item on my iPhone app. Latest version of app but nothing remotely associated with Calendar function. Maintenance service appointments is there and just above it should be calendar events??? Working with support but no answer yet.

I emailed them about the broken/missing UVO Link features. Here is their response:

Dear Kimberly Lazarski,
Both of those features are currently being worked on. The calendar feature as well as being able to view 360 screenshots in the app instead of the website should be available towards the end of September.
Sincerely,
Kia America

i am a little confused, they just fixed the calendar about a week ago. My calendar icon came back with the latest update on their download site., which I believe is dated 6/21 (210621). Then it worked for a couple days and started giving me error message something like No linked Calendar, use the mobile app to link a calendar, My calendar events showed in the app but wouldn't load into the car. Then they updated something on their server to correct this like I said about a week ago.
Also the mobile app has been updated for the iPhone it’s 4.9.0. Be sure you update it. Are you android or iPhone? Status of fixes could be different for android?

I just tried the 360 view, it still works fine?

My diagnostic function under UVO doesn’t work. Says something like can’t receive data? I have a ticket open on it for quite some time now. They broke it with the update in May I think it was. Fix one thing break another. Typical poor software control. Plus rhe communication about issues and fixes between support and the different people doing the software is poor, very poor

Calendar

I have android and the UVO Calendar link feature is in the app and events do display in the app but the car never syncs with the calendar.

This is now working for me. I don't know when it started working; the last time I tried was the day I submitted the support request.

Diagnostic/vehicle info function

This works for me.
