• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I know there are at least 2 of us! We got anyone else here from the land of snow, mountains and road salt?

There is positively a Sunset Yellow from Jerry Seiner somewhere: they sold it over the weekend between my test drive and Monday when I bought my Silky Silver (unless the owner got "chip city" and returned the car?). I think I saw a Stinger during my first week. But it wasn't a "confirmed" sighting; i.e. I doubt myself, because even now I can glance at an Optima and think "Stinger" before the details click and I reverse the first impression.

I've seen a red one out here twice, so there's got to be at least 1 other Uintah Basin Stinger. There's a car show in Roosevelt this weekend, and I'm bringing mine. Maybe I'll see another. Lol.

Found the owner of the red Stinger, but didn't bring up the site. Seemed like a nice enough guy, and he does have a handicap tag, so my first impression of "Wow, what an a**hole" seeing it parked in a handicap spot was wrong. Oops! Lol.

Too bad you didn't bring up this forum. He might already be a member. And if not, might become one. Sir, you failed to "minister". But you can repent. ;)

I'm sitting in Jerry Seiner's customer waiting room right now (second maintenance). I am still waiting to see my first confirmed Stinger sighting; thought I might pass one coming or going from here; nothing so far. lol

Hello, Stinger Admirer. Green River. Roosevelt. What next? Panguitch? Salina? :p Are there no other Stingers in the general metro area? I know, it is in its element with open empty roads. But still. This is getting to feel rather silly and unlikely from my point of view.

I had an "empty" road for a moment as I left Jerry Seiner this morning. Gabe (the JS finance guy) told me (a while ago) that the "driveway" going north out of JS (it used to be 3rd West, and is now Jerry Seiner Road) is kind of a test strip (unofficially, of course): they have tried his former Bimmer, a Stinger, a Tesla and some other cars I don't remember the names of. As your rear tires clear the speed bump, you hit it till you get to the sign on the east side of the road (South Jordan Auto Center Entrance), and then check your MPH. You can see by the scale that the distance is just over two hundred yards. The Tesla is the fastest of course, at just over 100 MPH. Gabe's Bimmer was 80-something. The Stinger was right there too. And today I tried it. As near as I could tell I hit 80 even. That wasn't even to the floor either. :D Then I was into the lazy left hander of the "ess", where Jerry Seiner Road turns back into 3rd West, that takes you to 10000 South. At that speed there is a hump even as you enter the curve, which was a little surprise. The two cars coming toward me were a bigger surprise. I was probably still doing 60 plus as we passed each other. They probably thought "maniac!"

You can see the yellow speed bump. The yellow arrow points to the limit, the sign. You can see the lazy "ess". And you can see the burnout patches. :D

Did you spell that handle right?

I remember 2 others from another forum site, but that one feels totally dead compared to this one, so I don't visit it any more.

That's a total of 6! Lol.

@stingeradmr, "@Triumvph" isn't turning anyone here up. Hmm?

Oh. Well, invite him over here. This is where it's at. :P

I got to try the Jerry Seiner "test strip" again this morning (had forgotten about having my maintenance log book signed). I produced my own "turbo lag" by not getting on it aggressively enough; only got up to 74 MPH on this second try.

You two will spot each other long before I see either of you. :D

@BambooRocket are you the "Blue" that was spotted on HAFB recently? I ask because a visitor to our fair state said he saw a Blue Stinger there not long ago.

Noice! @MerlintheMad if it's the blue one without all the stupid superman stickers on it yes. If not, helllllllllllll naw. I work F-22s on hill.
There are TWO Blues at Hill? Amazing. Have you met the owner of the superman stickers?
