In my previous car I had my ipod connected at all times (nicely hidden away inside the center console) and then tethered my phone to the main usb for Apple CarPlay and spotify.
Now with the Stinger, according to the manual, the second USB out is only for charging and doesn't work with an ipod? Is this really the case? That is extremely disappointing. It's disappointing enough that the second usb is out in the open behind the console instead of INSIDE IT, but to not even be fully functional?
Why is the basic pioneer 4200 nex I bought two years ago more advanced than this car? A single usb-out in 2018?
Would it be possible to have the ipod connected to the front usb and then be connected via bluetooth for CarPlay and spotify? Or will they interfere with eachother (not that I would be using them both at once).
