I saw this before. Personally, I'm not too excited. I don't care for "loud for loudness's sake." At least it's not artificial exhaust piped through the stereo system...

I have a ton of old keyword "kia+stinger" rss feed articles. I was looking through them for information that had not been posted here so I thought I would throw this up.

How "loud" it is doesn't really matter. Overall sound and even more importantly, no highway drone, are the biggest factors for me.

I'd be extremely surprised if there was any highway drone in the Stinger. That would be bad. I'll take the louder exhaust. I'm sure it won't be loud enough for many. And I'm pretty confident that what is "loud" to Kia isn't loud at all.

What is the ROW? I'm full of questions today. I'm pretty sure drone is a loud humming from the exhaust while you're just cruising. Right? I have a feeling I won't have to worry about this with my non-GT Stinger.

Yes, Rest of the World. And when people talk about "drone", they're just talking about the constant engine noise you get at cruising speeds. For a car intended to be a "grand tourer", you'd really hope the noise during relaxed driving would be kept to an absolute minimum.

i'd be very surprised if kia left in enough growl to hear drone during a highway cruise. i'm not worried, they know what they're doing. when i'm done with it there might be some drone. lol
