Curious to know what vehicles everyone drove before trading up to the Kia Stinger.

Personally, I was on my second Ford truck; a 2002 Explorer Sport Trac with 290K miles on the clock. It was ready to go and I was glad to see it go. Very pleased with my new ride.

Last few in descending order:
328xi because I had a weekly commute 135 mi over the mountains in winter
Genesis 4.6...rwd, see above
A8...at 80k transmission started making noise, traded it in that week

I like this subject each time it comes up, because I get to "brag" that my upgrade is bigger than anyone else's: I was "restorodding" a '94 Plymouth Voyager, that was pretty rare with five on the floor. I still miss that van, actually, and wish I hadn't sold it in weaker moments. I'd have driven it in the snow instead of my Stinger.

2015 Mustang GT was the last ride...let's see if I can stand to hold onto the Stinger for more than 5 years... the average over my driving life not including when I had two cars at once is an average of 1-3/4 years each. The newer cars bought from new were kept an average of 3 years each...Junkers for a year or so.

2009, 2012, 2015, 2018.

Maybe I should have looked at leases over the years! lol

2015 Hyundai Sonata. Really good car, but can't compare to the extra 120HP and AWD of the Stinger.

Ford F350 6.7

Nice - How was the Jag experience? I considered a used XF before deciding on the Stinger.
Jag was a great car. Lots of power. But it still had its infamous electrical issues. When I had replace a headlight at a cost of $3520 I figured maintenance cost were way out of line. I would say its not a long term owners car simple do to the parts and maintenance cost.

Wow. Yeah - it's stories like this that scared me away from biting on a used one. 10y/100k is real peace of mind.

Did you stick with the AWD after the RS?

I got to drive an R/T Challenger for a weekend before I got my GT1. No regrets there.
