hi all,

I thought it would be interesting to let you all know (if you don't know already), that kia has updated the 0-60 time of the stinger. I'm not sure if this has been talked about before, or if this only applies to the us model (since the korean market stingers get the 4.9s), but apparently the time is now 4.7 for rear wheel drive, or possible awd (not sure yet). Either way, we are looking at 4.7 and below 0-60 times, which I think is very impressive. I've attached the poster to this post... big shoutout to KeenDesign who showed me this official kia poster. KD sells rims and accessories for Kias, so check him out on insta @KEEN.DESIGN

Impressive, most impressive ! Even Darth would have liked the Stinger. I wonder if the 4WD will be faster, or whether the extra weight will even out the extra grip advantage.

The fastest I have seen is 4.8 in the AWD on launch control. The RWD doesn't have Launch control as far as I know.

From the specs I've seen the RWD also has launch control.

Thats with the Korean models. Which is why I think the US specs may be a bit faster, since 4.7 is now advertised

That's true, the 0-60 vs 0-62 is different

And Motor Trend got a 0-60 time of 4.8 sec. for a pre-production RWD Stinger GT. So slower than the "poster" but faster than the "website"..........the tenths are coming and going faster than I can keep up with.

slightly off topic, but if Motortrend got the car, then we can expect a ton of reviews coming our way in the next few weeks. can't wait

Excellent news, before I had read your full post I was thinking the opposite. Glad the car is known to be a bit quicker than anticipated.
