Unwelcome surprise this evening

I park my Stinger in our garage. My rat and mice solution is called "Sheldon." He is our outdoor cat. I shut him in at night, and so far I haven't had any rodent problems. Also, since it gets cold here in Iowa, he has a nice heated bed and water dish.

Good news... the damage is covered by my policy (under comprehensive).

The repair shop will be out tomorrow to tow it in. No idea yet how long this will take.
Fantastic!

How are the repairs going?

The total bill came to $1600. Most of that wasn't from the wiring ("just" $400 for parts and labor) but for the engine cover ($300) and replacing the radiator. I was out my deductible.

I finally have the car back as of a few days ago. The repairs to the wiring went quickly, but they didn't notice the radiator damage (the rats ate the foam padding border around the radiator to use as their bedding), and then they left air in the coolant system. It's running fine now... thanks for checking!

Great! thanks for the update I have been wondering how it went.
