Unichip and custom tune did the trick

A couple of months ago I had a Unichip installed, with custom tune and plugs. Standard air cleaner and stock bi-modal exhaust were kept.
Really pleased with 272kW and 701nM of torque at the wheels. A lot of extra power/torque is in the mid range. The powergain feels great but only half as good as the difference the extra torque makes. It pulls more than a Boy Scout jamboree.
At 100kmh on the speed camera infested Hume Highway I got 6.9 litres per 100km which was amazing. The average fuel economy has now dropped to 8.3 litres/100 (over 5000km).
But the best thing with the tune is the change in response and throttle drivability. Overtaking acceleration is something to feel.
A modest investment has delivered about 193kW per tonne. It’s changed what was already a very good car into an amazing drive, ESPECIALLY in Sport mode. In Sport mode on really twisty roads I can easily steer with the throttle.
I’m not going any further with mods as I feel that the power and torque now matches the chassis perfectly.
Cheers

Nice. 701nM Torque is impressive. I’m considering a unichip after I have driven my stinger stock for a few months.
Where did you go to purchase/install/tune the unichip?
How much did they charge?
What was your fuel economy before the chip?
Do you have a picture of the Dyno chart?

Hi. Got it installed at Morriset NSW at DC Tuning and Mechanical. They were very professional and had done quite a few Stingers. It was about $2200 or $2500 - can’t remember exactly. Yes, have chart but not near me now.
the torque curve is quiet flat, pulls early but not too early.
cheers

JB4 is cheaper, easy install and you get the same performance + JB4 can support more features as well

any idea if the JB4 and unichip will be an issue with warranty if they are removed from the car?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Both claim to leave no trace once fully removed.

What type of Dyno? What are the HP/Torque values at 5250 RPM's?

Here is the Dino results. Sorry for the delay to up load.
