Typical used mileage

I'm really excited to be leaning toward buying a stinger. How concerned should I be about mileage, as long as it is typical (15k per year). I'm trying to stay under 30K (my own personal thought process), however if its a little more, say high 30's low 40's, what things should I look out for or consider, if I need to consider anything at all.

My 2018 GT1 has over 44K miles without any issues. Obviously, you want as low miles as possible. But don't automatically expect higher miles to produce problems. Assure yourself that it was well cared for and maintained: and do the usual close inspection (when buying any used vehicle, I always took it first to our trusted mechanic to get their opinion): that's all anybody can do.

Thanks. Just recently saw the thread about the warped brakes issue, and it made me start to think a little differently, considering I had heard mostly good things prior. My thought process is that I should be good if the original warranty is good at least for a few years or 15k to 20k miles.

My only issue, which started within the first 3k miles of ownership (a few months after I bought the car) and took Kia over half a year and another 6k miles to fix were the brake problems. Other than that, with the exception of the AC having random hiccups a few times, that car has been good. You should be fine under warranty. I have 15.7k miles and have owned the car about a year and a half now. Everyone has different luck with these cars.

I can tell you that I have a 2019 GT RWD with 134,000 miles and all I have done for maintenance has been brakes(Not warping- just Washington DC/Baltimore driving) and tires. The car does not use a drop of oil between oil changes and it drives as good as the day I bough it néw…better actually since I installed the Eibach pro kit springs and sway bars(A defined must!). I have always bought Japanese due to the reliability, and hesitated on the Kia, but at the price for what you are getting it was worth the risk. I am very glad I did. This is by far the best car I have ever owned, and I am 51 years old, so I have driven a lot of cars. I can tell you daily I still get “What kind of car is that?” Get used to that! I have not done any engine mods just swapped the air filters for K&N as a money savings. For me. it’s more than enough for a daily driver. Good luck on your decision, and if you do decide to get a Stinger you won’t be disappointed.

Curious, based on that many miles have you done any valve cleaning? Direction injection tends to build up soot/crud (blow-by) and by that many miles I'd expect some loss in power/efficiency.

Better than the 1965 Mustang, better than the 1966 Corvette convertible, better then my 2 Lincoln Town Cars or my 2012 F-150 Platinum. Carvana just offered me $33,817 for it.

Nope. After 2 years it had 24,000 and was mint condition. Dealer offered $500 for it on a trade, so I traded it for the Corvette. Yeah, I wish I still had it and the Corvette. Had to sell the Corvette to pay kid's hospital bills. But my GT2 is much better than both of them put together. Now, sadly - the Universe is going to force me to EV and it's better to do it now, before prices on the car and on the FSD software go up any more. One more car and it should last as long as I will.

It will be at least 10 years before anyone is forced to electric. The infrastructure is just not ready.
I too have had many new cars, 65 to exact. This Stinger is the best at doing all things well. The GT2 is the total package.
