Is this something that can be done? The most comfortable position for the steering wheel for me blocks my view of the turn signal lights, and if I have the music turned up, I can't hear the clicking. This leads to me sometimes driving with the turn signal on for minutes if I don't turn the wheel enough to reset the turn signal.

You must be tall....welcome to the club.

To answer your question; no, they cannot be added to the HUD. Sometimes I leave my blinkers on so long I think it qualifies me for an AARP card.

Just program the soft tap of the blinker to a higher number like I did and never fully engage the blinker lever. It almost feel like being a bmw driver. ;)

I'm 6'2, which I swear seems like average height nowadays. There has to be a way to get Kia to implement these kinds of things in future firmware upgrades.

That's what I do now, sometimes I overshoot it without noticing, or if I'm at a light and will turn, I push the blinker the whole way, but then I don't turn the wheel enough, and there we go again.

I wish the radio volume would show on the HUD when changing it. That would be nice.. My OCD makes me change the volume in increments of 5...lol

First world problems, huh?
Well, if you truly want to hear about first world problems in relation to the HUD....I can't see it when I wear polarized sunglasses:(.

My HUD surprisingly works ok with my polarized sunglasses (Maui Jim, perhaps makes a difference). It's not as bright while wearing them, obviously, but usually easy enough to read with the speed color set to white.

I could also use turn signals in the HUD - I have the same problem with the steering wheel blocking them.

Interesting. I can't see it at all with one pair of RayBans, but I can a little with another pair. Haven't even tried my Oakleys. Maybe I'll try changing the color of the HUD.

This is something I would really like, I'm not quite sure why couldn't add this in a future model. I understand you don't want to over-clutter the HUD but I would consider this something that would be good to have up there.

I inherited a pair of RayBan sunglasses from a deceased family member. (I was the only one in the family they would fit.) I really liked my polarized sunglasses, except for them killing my HUD, however these RayBans are WONDERFUL. They are the lightest weight of any glasses I have ever had, gradient lenses that are very dark at the top and nearly clear at the bottom , work beautifully with the HUD and are soooo comfortable. Probably cost at least 2 decimal places more than I would ever pay for a pair of glasses, with my feet firmly rooted in a 3rd world culture, but I am really enjoying them and my HUD - Thanks Walter!

I've got Oakley prescription progressive that have polarized lenses and it's reduced but legible!

I believe there is a way to adjust the HUD to correct issues with the way your polarized sunglasses filter the light. Someone with an owner's manual might be kind enough to check if this is the case. I thought I read a post about it here somewhere, but it may have been the G70 forum.

I think I heard adjusting the rotation can help. It's in the gauge cluster menu under Head-Up Display.

You can, but you just need to tilt your head to the right a few degrees. :)

Thats easy, my head is already tilted when the head is resting on my hand while i slowly surf the net while driving :D

In my 5 Series BMW there were turn signal indicators in the Head Up Display.-- But that's a good idea; I'm going to do that.

Curious, does the HUD reflect the speed limit of the road you are on or only your current speed?

No speed limit shown for me atleast.

In the US market model at least, many roads will display a speed limit sign next to your current speed in the HUD.

Does for me too. Will also show when you're in a school zone.
