Had 2022 GT Line for less than a week, wireless charging not working. Phone is qi compatible as are others I've tested. Read manual, the options described in infotainment system to "turn on wireless charging" don't exist in settings that I could find. Searched settings for wireless charging but no luck. Really don't want to take if for service after 1 week. Any help out there? Thanks.

Never had any major issues with it. My Iphone SE has to set in there fairly deep, sometimes if it's just barely in there it won't activate, I nudge it back a little and it's on. Seems to be operating correctly. What kind of phone and case are you using?

the wireless charger setting I think is in the cluster's settings pages, at least on the older cars. you have to be in park to access them.

Not sure of the case, it's an LG V40 thin q. I test drove a different GT Line a couple months ago and it worked. I'll try pushing it a little further in. Thanks.

By cluster I assume you mean the smaller display between the gauges. Maybe in the newer cars all the settings seem to be accessed through the infotainment system; I will double check since I couldn't access them thru the cluster

From the navigation manual, page 9-32 (wish they'd use real page numbers!@#)

Yes. Problem is when I get to that screen and tap "convenience", the only options that show up are the first 2. Wireless charging and everything below it as shown in this picture aren't there on my car's screen. Software or firmware issue? I'm at a loss.

You said it's a 22 gt-line, with or without the sunroof/fancier stereo?

I clearly remember seeing this in mine (without the fancy stereo), and disabling because I don't have a wireless charging phone.

With the sunroof and sound system. Not possible it's not "equipped", even though the charger is plainly right there?

Stupid but possibly relevant. Do you have the door open when trying the charging since mine doesn't work until I close the door.

I took pics of mine but for some dumb reason I'm not allowed to post them. Suffice it to say that I have no option/row that says wireless charging on that screen. Interested in your software info though. Could you post a shot of your software & firmware screen?

Mine has a small Qi light next to the charging pad, do you see that? I'm wondering if you even have wireless charging (maybe the window sticker will/will not reveal that?). My instincts were the phone case (as Jamenobrakes suggested) being too thick or not allowing the phone to sit flush. Have you taken it out of the case for testing?

You wouldn't have an updated date until you actually update the fw at least once. That field was previously empty. My car was built in 202106 but had the 202011 infotainment firmware originally. I expect yours to be similar if built earlier.

Unfortunately I can't tell you if it had the wireless charging option before the update as I didn't look for it. My OP 7T is lacking in that regard. Not to mention my phone is usually in airplane mode when i'm driving.

For updating, use an actual 32GB flash drive (not micro sd + adapter/reader). Format fat32. Mine took about 20-30 minutes to do the update. Had car in on mode with a battery tender connected.

Yes there is a little symbol that lights up when car lights are on and also an indicator light that is supposed to come on when charging that obviously hasn't come on. Doesn't work out of the case and wireless charging is listed on the window sticker. I have also wondered if it even has wireless but then why bother putting the pad and indicator in the car? Something weird going on.

Makes sense about the updated date. Not sure when mine was built.
Good update info, probably try updating this weekend. Not even sure how much I'll use the wireless charger but car is brand new and I'm loving it so far. Bit of a sour taste with something wrong so early but hopefully one way or another will get it figured out.
