So the cars are prone to rattle. The occasional squeak. Some easily corrected, some not.

My solution: drown it out. I find I don't mind a bit of rattle if it's the result of the subs pushing out low frequency bass with the volume set to 36+ and the bass slider all the way over. Soothing, even. But then I spent several years in clubs/club security...so that's how I'm wired and I'm probably a little deaf. Some random cuts off the top of my head:
  • Sail - AWOLNation
  • Radioactive - Imagine Dragons
  • Animals - Martin Garrix
  • Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino Mix) - Rob D
  • Eleanor Rigby - Godhead
  • Possum Kingdom - Toadies
  • Massive Attack in general...
The list goes on. And before some of you start in...yes, I do kill the volume before I drop off the main roads into the neighborhood.

So what's rattling your cage, cagers?

My wife NOT liking my subwoofers rattles my cage. I tend to keep all music off when she's in the car to keep things simple.

My car rides silently. It is a blessing.

My wife riding in the car results in a lower than average radio volume (you can speak over it). It is only because my wife was in the vehicle that I first noticed the sunroof making noises, because the radio was down too low. She would be mortified if I told her this since she knows how I hate noisy cars.

As for naming music, I have a bit of a mix. Primarily metal (of what most consider the "death" variety), punk rock, hard rock, a tad bit of techno, a lot of symphonic music from movies (Dark Knight, etc) and a small selection of rap (I like the fast stuff - Busta Rhymes, etc).

When I'm alone my tastes toward classical. But I also like old groups like Credence, Moody Blues, Alan Parsons. Cusco and David Arkenstone are my more modern favorites.

I suck, kicked off a thread and abruptly abandoned it. A lot of varied and excellent choices here.

Currently hooked on Sunn O)))... quality doom drone. The Stinger system copes pretty well, which is saying something.

I don't always listen to SLAYER! In the Stinger. But when I do, so does everyone in a 3 block radius.

Fear Inoculum sounds awesome as well.
Didn't realize Tool was still around. Have to check that out.

I'm super sad. Tour tix sold out in 25 minutes this morning while I was in a meeting and couldn't order them.

Noo, what a pita! I've seen them a few months ago in Zurich, Switzerland! And there are awesome! Sadly they only played the song fear Inoculum not more of the new album!

But I'am so happy they uploaded their albums to Spotify!

Hope you get tickets from another source?!

Depends on pricing in the secondary market. I have a ceiling I'm willing to go to, but I expect they'll blow through that pretty quickly. US tickets sales is a freaking racket. Everyone's out to squeeze as much blood from fans as they possibly can.

We got our tickets for around 100 Euro each in official sale! In secondary market they sold single seated tickets for over 400 Euro..

Wish you all of the best to get some! Have you already seen tool live?

And how. Tried a couple years back to get tickets for a big act...utterly pointless. Sold out in < 5 min, secondary market blew up to $800+ instantly. Pass, and pass trying. Who buys these?
