The more of these kills I witness, the more I'm tempted to get tuned.
Wow. That’s some tough competition and the Stinger just made it look easy. The more of these kills I witness, the more I'm tempted to get tuned.
Nice post, gee a little “tweak” to the Stinger really smokes “old school” muscle. I have noticed driving mine around, a lot of Falcon, Commodore & Audi owners I’ve come across just give a wary glance & some nod, word is out, be afraid, be very afraid of Stingers they bite...lol.
BTW, even at my age I’m tempted to do a chip & tune, but still sitting back taking it all in.
PS: the G8 is genuine Aussie muscle...![]()
I know, that’s why I bought the car, would need the financial controllers approval & I also think it’s early days to go down this track just yet for me, but in the meantime plenty of info gathering....Do it! You only live once.

I love how the Stinger squats at launch. Looks likes it’s ready for takeoff!
Also was that the Stinger chirping the tires going into 2nd? Must be making some serious power. Is that the stage 1 Tork tune with DP and cat deletes like the shop car? Either way awesome runs, thanks for sharing and Go Team Stinger!![]()
I think so too. However it looks like that’s a RWD Stinger too. It chirps the tires in the first solo launch and don’t see the AWD badge on the back. Anyone know for sure?Pretty sure the 2nd gear chirp was the Camaro. Tuned AWD Stinger won't chirp, but RWDs do.
I was just logging in to post this video but got beat to it!
looks like it. RWD all the way!!I think so too. However it looks like that’s a RWD Stinger too. It chirps the tires in the first solo launch and don’t see the AWD badge on the back. Anyone know for sure?
Exactly why I live in Florida.RWD is fun, but region and climate comes in to play when making such decisions.
And a new rear end.Exactly why I live in Florida.More fun in so many ways!
JK JK, to each their own but there’s nothing like a nice RWD power slide or a tire smoking burnout.![]()
Lol. Yeah maybe Ill actually get to try those two cool RWD benefits once I get a non-defective differential installed. And a new rear end.
Was your limited slip?Lol. Yeah maybe Ill actually get to try those two cool RWD benefits once I get a non-defective differential installed.![]()
Not to go further off topic but yes, and why Kias had my car waiting for the replacement. Was your limited slip?
