Any Indianapolis Stinger Owners add a Trunk Lid Spoiler? I'm trying to decide between a Type S or a Type G and would like to see one before I order.
That's by far the best looking spoiler I've seen on this car.I have the type S colour matched View attachment 49058View attachment 49059
Yes it suits it perfectly IMO, most who see it ask if it’s OE.That's by far the best looking spoiler I've seen on this car.
Looks great! I'm leaning towards the Type S as well - Did you install yourself?I have the type S colour matched View attachment 49058View attachment 49059
Thanks, I’m very happy with it, been on for over 2 years now.Looks great! I'm leaning towards the S Type as well - Did you install yourself?
Why did you choose the S Type? Thanks, I’m very happy with it, been on for over 2 years now.
No I didn’t install, I had my body shop colour match & fit for me.
over the G Type? Why did you choose the S Type?
Firstly there was not many spoilers on offer over 2 years ago.over the G Type?
Type S in Glossy Black is exactly what I am thinking. It looks awesome on you Stinger! Did you install it yourself?Type S here...glossy black. Perfect fit and understated.
Great points... I believe I'm sold on the S Type! I'm glad you made the point that the G Type intrudes on the rear view vision.... That's one thing the Stinger does not need!Firstly there was not many spoilers on offer over 2 years ago.
IMO the G type style does not suit the lines of the car, I was actually sent the G type by mistake, tried it on my car & still didn’t like the look, too duckbill like for me & also intrudes into rear view vision whereas S type does not.
Did you purchase off the Stinger.com site?Type S here...glossy black. Perfect fit and understated.
I actually purchased it through Elvis on ImportShark. The spoiler comes in matte black but ImportShark can have it painted glossy for like 90 bucks (around 250 total) so I went with them. Some people have issues ordering through them but I had no issues other than a slight delay due to Covid. Elvis was on top of it. I installed it myself in about 3 minutes...super easy.Did you purchase off the Stinger.com site?
And a dang good opinion if I do say so myself.I’ve had both. A carbon fiber type S and currently a matte black type G. I think the type G looks better overall and suits the lines of the car better. But that's just my opinion.
Thank you for the offer - Unfortunately, I have already ordered a Type S that should be here in a few days! I have a Maxima Platinum with a spoiler with more of a type S look, which is why I think I chose that for my Stinger. Hopefully all works out well! Both M&S products are very popular. We offer them in unpainted matte black or a painted gloss black finish that looks fantastic. They are sporty yet subtle and the fitment is perfect enough to look like it could be an OEM part. I would be glad to hook you up with a discount on whichever one you choose. Just shoot me a message about it and I will get you set up. I personally like the Type G look a bit more with the duckbill style but the S is also nice just a little more of a box type with sharper styling edges.
