So I've owned my stinger for 6 months. Have had a full service and rotor replacement done by kia.
Borla exhaust.
Yesterday I was driving home, went to accelerate onto the highway maybe 60 percent throttle, she fell flat on her face. Now whenever it shifts gears, mainly 2nd to 3rd. 3rd to 4th. Even 5th to 6th. Is Revs up between shifts like the transmission is slipping bad. Called kia. Earliest appointment is for monday, quite scared to drive it atm. Anyone have any experience with an issue like this.

Can't say I've ever felt that before and you won't find many transmission threads here. I dont think it's very common. Goodluck and keep us posted.

No check engine lights or diagnostic data through uvo. It says the transmission control system checks out. No puddle of atf under the car. I mean its driveable but I'm not sure if it's going to cause more damage. 25km drive to my dealer. Forgot to mention the car has 27500km on it. Come to think of it the transmission always shifted kind of funny since I got it but never this bad.

Will go test and report back . No difference between eco comfort sport or custom.

Paddle shifting seemed ok. 2nd to 3rd is still the worst gear change . Slips no matter what. Off to the dealer tomorrow. See if they find anything. Will let you all know the outcome one way or another.

Hope it will be something minor, although it does not sound like it will be. At least you are under warranty

Ok went to dealer for diagnostic. Applewood kia langley bc canada to be exact. Tech said he checked fluid level and reset the transmission control module. He also stated he couldn't replicate the problem. He said that it may act as its slipping well the adaptive transmission learns my driving habits. So we shall see , problem slowly got better with the car kept in sport mode on my 30 min drive home . Still "slipped" a few times. Then progressively got better and better. But not totally gone. Will update you all in the next few days ! Cheers

Hope it is successful

Make sure you get video of it happening so if it does happen again you can have proof to show the dealer.

You're going to have to be able to reliably replicate the problem yourself to show them if it continues. That may require you being hard on it, but better to uncover and fix the problem now before it leaves you stranded at an inconvenient time later.

Change your fluid in the transmission. They recommend changing the fluid at 30 thousand miles or transmission can slip.

Who is "they" you are referring to?
Kia says - under SEVERE conditions, every 100,000 KMs (60,000 Miles).
