About a week ago i was out driving the stinger and did a 0-60 pull using launch control at about 30 or 40 it felt like the transmission dropped out of the bottom of the vehicle, stopped and everything that i seen looked fine but the car shifts late now, no jerking or clunking just stays in a gear longer than and revs to a higher rpm then shifts i have a service appointment for the 4th of december

This occurs in sport mode only?

Like did it brake real hard without you braking? Or like it went into neutral by itself? That don't sound good.

You could do a relearn procedure to see if that helps.

Disconnect the battery, step on the brake pedal for five seconds, and wait ten minutes before hooking up the battery. Have key fob at least ten feet away from the vehicle.

Then drive and see if it still does it.

The transmission has it's own control unit, and this will reset learned adaptives.

Is this because of paddle shifting because the night that happened i was paddle shifting it for like 10 mins and that happened after! Ill deff try that thank you!!! It was also the first time ive ever actually used the paddles to shift expect dropping it a gear or two previously

I've used paddle shifter for extended periods of aggressive driving without any problems. Just FYI. Sorry

Just make sure you use a low enough gear, to avoid lugging (chugging). To give some indication how low you need to go: I experimented coming home on my last road trip, by being in manual gate, pulled out to pass and pushed down to the kickdown switch: the car's response was a bit like, "You idiot, you can't give me WOT in 8th gear!" It chugged briefly and then shifted down to 4th gear (this was cruising at 89 MPH) and took off like a missile, smooth as silk: I was up to 130 MPH before I knew it. :D This was with Custom where engine is set to Eco. Doing this in Sport is noticeably more responsive, and the trans logic won't let you mess around with low revs, but downshifts instantly when you start to give it gas, never mind WOT.

I have the same issue today ,
When shifting from 2nd to 3rd , and 4th to 5th , RPM will rev little higher and the shifting ,
What was the issue with you ?
