I cant seem to find anything on transmission fluid and what kind i can use? And yes i know it says it says no service required! But also says 60k miles for severe conditions. Can anyone tell me what fluid i can use?

Check your owners manual, I think the Transmission Fluid is listed in there.

I guess the dealership uses

Valvoline MaxLife Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid Multi-Vehicle 1 Gallon

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
This looks like the Hyundai equivalent.

They are different fluids. I don't know what the difference is, but i would make sure it has RR at the end.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, if it doesn’t match exactly I wouldn’t use it.

I'm having my fluid replaced with Valvoline

MULTI-VEHICLE (ATF) FULL SYNTHETIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

The product information sheet recommends it compatible with Hyundai/Kia SP-IV-RR

It is compatible with sp-iv, but not sp-iv-rr. Unless i missed something.

Their spec sheet shows it's compatible with SP-IV-RR.

Oh, ok. I see it now! Good to know, there's one more option!

FYI SP-IV-RR is specific for 8 speed transmissiom’s

Here is a link to the Service Manual: https://www.kstinger.com/fluid-508.html
Fill the automatic transmission with about 7.0 L of ATF SP-IV-RR through the ATF filler hole.

This implies that it is not a shade-tree mechanic job to do.

I don't see why a competent shadetree couldn't do it. See here:

I just bought the pan/filter for $110+tax off ebay. I'm going with this ATF, which meets SP-IV RR standard, listed on the back of the bottle:

2 gallons should be plenty for the 7 L refill. $70+tax.
