So the MY19s still do this, according to a video review posted here. But is this some kind of deal breaker? It is on the level of a quirk. Comparing the Singer point by point with other cars that DO things a certain way isn't really germane to enjoying driving a Stinger. For over 4K miles I didn't even know about manual gate in my GT1. Heh!

Then I was reading in the manual (it was my bedside read for the first three months

), and came across "manual gate", and I said out loud, "No way! Are you kidding me?" I didn't wait till morning, but went outside and checked it out and "discovered" it. Lol. Up till then, I simply clicked the
paddle shifter when I came to a complete stop and the "D" showed. Not a big deal. But, I was super pleased to finally not have to do that anymore. If I had to now, I'd revert back to my first expedient and not worry about it.
