"JustThatPeguin" is sending me out his stock system for the shipping cost sometime in the near future. Once it gets here, I will get back to you to see if you are still in the market for the Borla system. It does sound nice, especially when aggressively driven. Just a little louder than I bargained for.

I am up in Plymouth. I am still messing around with different sound deadening experiments for the cargo / spare tire area. I suspect that this is where most of the interior noise is coming from. I already installed dynomat in that area with limited improvement. Also put a layer of closed cell foam on top of that... Still not too much difference. Next I am gonna try a sound deadening insulation called Rockwool Safe N Sound to fill in above those layers and below the cargo carpet floor. John67 stuffed a bunch of towels in his and he thinks interior noise was greatly reduced. We could meet up some time after work so you can judge the Borla Exhaust for yourself in person. I like the sound, ...just gets a bit loud here and there.

Also check into area under car where pipe just sits inside stock tips. You get a lot of sound bounce back. Someone said have a union welded between pipe and tips so noice will travel all the way out from under car.

There is know sound from stock that’s the problem. Only fake engine noise through stereo speakers

Go into settings turn off fake engine noise. It also helps a little. Moving blankets are sound deadening try those to

Have been reading your experimentation on sound deadening, about to under take it myself as my new Ark exhaust is really reverberating around the cabin. Just wanted to use your wisdom-any pointers since May18 on sound deadening? How did It all pan out ? Did you do areas other than the boot area? Thanks.

Dyno mat helped covered whole floor in truck area and back of floor insert. It helped a lot. But nothing will get rid of it totally

When I upgraded to the Borla Exhaust the installer "recycled" my stock exhaust. Miscommunication on my part and I couldn't get it back. I like the Borla exhaust but it turns out it is a little loud for my 55 year old taste.

Anyone interested in either selling their stock exhaust outright or doing a one for one swap?

WTF he recycled an oem exhaust LOL??? Do you know how much cats are worth alone...sounds like a bunch of bolony an installer should by default give you your exhaust not recycle ...

The catback exhaust starts right after the secondary cat so he still has his cats.
