Good morning. Question: is there any way to "reset" the TPM after filling the tires with air? We had a major cold snap in the upper midwest. I anticipated my tires would need air like everyone else. TPM said I was at 28lbs. on the front so I filled them all to 32lbs. Shut off/started the car and the caution light was still on. Drove down the freeway and the monitor light was still on, even though the readings were at 34 and 33 lbs on the front. Even after sitting overnight the caution light is still on.

Inflate it to 40 or 42 psi(can't remember). That will turn the light off. Than you can deflate it back to 32

Thanks, I will give that a try...if I can find an air hose that doesn't have a 10 car line... :p

Just to be sure--are you filling the pressure to what's indicated on your door card?

My 2022 GT2 AWD says the pressure needs to be 38psi front and 36psi rear.

I had my TPM light come on about a month ago, and I filled the cold tires to those PSI. The light disappeared after a few minutes of driving around. Check your door card and see what it recommends, then fill your cold tires to that PSI.

The lights were not on for the rear tires, they were both at 33 so I thought 32 would be enough. I will fill them up more and see if that helps.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks for the suggestions, light is off now. I inflated the fronts to 40lbs. or so then let air out to about 38.

Thats great, but bro follow your door card! I have seem other owners says their door card inflation numbers didn't match mine (38 front, 36 rear). So it may be dependent on model year, AWD/RWD, etc.

Glad the issue was resolved though!

38 and really cold. Tire is going to heat up and pressure will expand. Over inflated tire would be unsafe on wet or snowy roads
