Fellow Stinger enthusiasts - good news on the horizon. Before long, the K8 Stinger store should be selling 1:18 scale die-cast Stinger models. Word is - a new Stinger purchaser in Korea gets a model of their car with the vehicle. Elsewhere, looks like we'll have to buy it separately. I've seen pictures and they look as they may be a quality model. Hopefully that is true and they will be priced reasonably. Fingers crossed. db

Yeah. I remember back when they were under ten bucks and you got to assemble them yourself.

These should be die-cast bodies with plastic interiors and rubber tires. Typically, the collector cars from groups like Franklin Mint were roughly $150-$200 per car, BUT, they were high quality pieces and finely detailed and painted in authentic colors. The cheaper die-cast cars from groups like Maisto, Ertyl, and Hot Wheels can be purchased right around $20 each. I’m hoping these will be on the higher quality side, but certainly less than the prices seen on eBay! Let’s see what K8 Stinger Store can get for us and what price point. I asked my dealership to get me one with my vehicle purchase, and they said they would “look into it”. No model and no update from them as of yet!!! As a side note; I noticed the purchase of a Tesla Model 3 DOES come with a model of the car when you take delivery, and that’s here in the USA. (Check YouTube Picking up my Tesla Model 3).

Ebay has all three sizes at a host of prices. I’m cheap, I bought the $18 one that others are selling for over 30. It’s coming from Korea.
Search ‘Kia Stinger Toy’ you should hit them all. Some are way pricey.

Was as patient as could be for our forum stores to start carrying the Die Cast Stingers...... Not quick enough. I ordered one from ebay and I must say I am impressed! Quickly shipped and the build quality is better than expected. This thing is solid! Not sure it's worth the money,but if you want an outstanding reproduction of your Stinger - this is it! See the pictures..... it's 1:18 scale so the dust in the pictures really shows! There are no paint defects. db

Forgot to mention; they are offered in several different colors and also with the Korean badging or Kia oval badges. Again, the quality was surprising. The model weighs 2lbs 11.5 ounces. (1 kilogram 235 grams).

Yeah, I wanted Silky Silver, but had to settle on White. Funny thing I had a White Sportage & I the only model I could get was Silver...go figure.
You’d think with the quality of the Stinger they would have offered all available colours on this model.
