Tow Pull Points On Stinger

Hello all! Let me start out by saying holy cow the stinger drives very well in the winter on snow covered roads. With that being said I was trying to pull a car out of a drift and I crawled underneath front and back but did not see any obvious place to attach a tow rope. I returned to my garage and checked again but all I see is the plastic front bumper or the rear exhaust, both of which I am not pulling from. Anyone know any information about this? I would love to know to be prepared for the future.

tow hook spot. if you look at your spare tire you should find like a hook looking object that looks like a huge ass screw. bolt that bad boy on and you have a towing point up in front. the rear might be the same but im not too sure about that.

My altruism will NOT extend to popping those squares off and screwing the tow hook in so that I can pull somebody off a snowbank.

Thanks for the quick reply! In the manual it says,

If towing service is not available in an emergency, your vehicle may be temporarily towed using a cable or chain secured to the emergency towing hook under the front (or rear) of the vehicle.

I am under the impression that by that wording there is a spot under the car itself.

No, "under" means concealed behind/under that little square: under/inside the bumper cover.

Rear is essentially the same, but is actually a different size/thread.

My car came with 2 x different tow loop attachments - both different thread size

I was incorrect about the different threads for front and rear - they are both M24 x 2.5

1 has a noticeably more beefy shaft








At the time - I was measuring the exact tow hook license plate fitment that I wanted.

mine is currently bent because of some ass hat backing up into me and leaving... still hurts to look at but to lazy to remove

Your plate? Is that all? I'd say you got off Scott free if your tow hook plate was all that took the hit!

honestly yeah!! right under my plate, my paint got scratched up for sure but I mean it could have been wayyy worse if that license plate wasn't there.

Yup, basically push straight in - pushing on the arrow.

just imagine this little cover owes you money and commit to shoving your thumb in his eyes... I had troubles pushing this in and then had troubles committing because it feels like you're going to break something.. commit and take his eyes out.
