I picked up a numbers matching TCU off eBay today for almost $400.. . Was gonna send it to Tork and get a stage 1 TCU tune. Not looking for anything overly aggressive, I'm basically full bolt on running Jb4 , usually E30 map 2-4.. if your running this setup how is the improvement in shifting and acceleration? Does it help at all with the annoying downshift for 2-1st? Thanks for any info

I had the Tork stage 1 and sold mine. Its main draw is the ability to launch with boost and since I don’t track my car and was mainly looking for shift speed and line pressure increases, I honestly didn’t feel it was worth much. I’ve had a shift kit on another performance car that absolutely felt like a kick in the nuts with each shift and I didn’t feel any type of line increase on the Tork. I believe it did help with the 2-1 downshift though.

I’m running basically the same mods as you now with the stock tcu program and can’t tell much of a difference from the Tork stage 1 when not launching and just regular driving. This is just my own opinion though.

@StingerbyAdoom and others who have had both the Tork, Lozic, and maybe the SXTH tcu tunes would have a better perspective on the differences between those as I’ve only ran the Tork.

I will be getting the SXTH EK1 soon so that is another option but at $600 plus the tunes but will give you more options down the road.

I just did the Tork set up a few weeks ago and noticed a considerable change from stock. That aggressive downshift from 2-1 is gone and the car shifts quickly through the gears that I can literally drive around in Eco and it's still responsive. I daily map 2 and occasionally fill up with E-30 and i don't really launch since i live in an urban area but for spirited daily driving I don't regret getting the Tork.

Company off eBay messaged me and said they had already sold the TCU.. can't find one anywhere!

You got lucky then. That’s a crap price for a spare tcu. By the time you sent it out to Tork and shipping costs you would be looking at $550 minimum. You might as well go Lozic at this point or like I said look at the classifieds for a tuned one. You have a gt1 so the h-matic tcu is easy to find. Also numbers don’t need to match.

Yeah that's a good thing. I had paid $200 for a used one and sold it for the same price.

Yep I was $250 total in my Tork tcu and sold it for $450 and that was with a spare tcu purchase and shipped to Tork.

Get the stage 2, its mucho better.

I had a guy lined up on here selling his Lozic TCU, haven't heard from him for a week... Can't find any for 3.3 on eBay.. I'm not sure if 22-23 can be used on a 21

OP I saw you posted in Rhinos Lozic tcu classified thread about buying it. Not trying to intrude but that seems like a better deal on a tcu.

Ah this might have just answered my question I posted. I had a guy on here willing to sell me the bms fmic and ghosted me. Sucks but sometimes means something better is coming around the corner.

Ya that's what I wanted... Not sure why the ghost move, thought he wanted to sell it.. I'll keep looking bud!

I have the Tork stage 1 and I wouldn't recommend it. It lets you boost on launch but it usually falls on its face right after. You'd be better off with a brake snip in my opinion.
I really don't launch much... Was looking for improvement in shift times etc basically
