Did you keep the staggered fitment and if so what specs did you got with? Suprised to see the staggered fitment on awd

That's exactly what I was thinking as I was reading your post. I didn't know that was a thing. But, I admit...I'm not an expert on such things.

Most stay staggered. It looks way better. There's a ton of threads with pics and info.

I dug through all the pages on the aftermarket wheel post and not much. So I’m so glad there’s a forum where I can ask such questions

Yes.

19×8.5+32 - 255/35/19
19×10+47 - 295/30/19

I guess you've never looked at just about any modern AWD sports car?

Yes, I stayed with the same 19" sized wheels, but I went wider; the front wheels are 8.5" wide, rears are 9.5" wide; offsets are 39 and 40 respectively; so, the tires are stretched a bit - tends to stiffen the sidewalls and keep the tread planted; but some really don't like any stretched look.

I stayed squared. I prefer rotating tires at 5k intervals.

But, at the end of the day, it's your cheddar. Do what makes you happy.

I am eyeing 245/35-20 & 285/30-20 is a better than stock match in diameter which is what matters with AWD. As for raising height of car fine with me since I lowered 1 inch.

Run 8.5 +35 with 245/35R19 Square, really like the improved handling

I think the main problem is the difference of circumference between front and rear for the differential.
19"-Example: 225_40(2014)/255_35(2010) => diff:= 0,2%
19"-Example: 225_40(2014)/275_35(2052) => diff:= 1,9%

And a higher permanent slip is :poop:
(there a Audi-Quattros with defect differential about high slip)

Can I change my squared setup (AWD 18') to lets say the stock staggered size & setup on my AWD?

Yes. Don't expect to get a higher WOT top speed, though.:P;)

It is interesting how owners go both ways; some have rid themselves of the staggered setup and gone with wider wheels and tires square.

As cowboy said, in doing so, just get as close to the OE tire diameter as you can.

Thank you! How about the offset/bolt pattern? I'm really interested in upgrading to these specs and size. I'm currently on stock springs. Would these fit on stock height and maybe the eibach springs (later on)?

Offset, as far as I know, is identical, as of course is bolt pattern; in other words, if you took off OE 18" wheels and slapped on OE 19" wheels the offset would be the same.

And as far as I've been able to tell reading, nobody has clearance issues caused by going with any aftermarket springs (well, other than the wheel wells, perhaps, when exercising your "right" to "spirited cornering":P).

Should work perfectly. I have those specs on my front wheels. :thumbup: (But doublecheck to be sure; I understand that rim shape, even spoke shape, can push the clearance just enough to not work: and my TSW "Watkins" spokes are really close to the calipers.)

What happens if i run 245/35/20 275/35/20
The side wall being the same size as the front
