To Cover Rear Reflector or Not. That is the question.

I am still waiting on the sequential led reflectors to get delivered. Shipping from korea can be very slow.

I black mine out the day I got the car. Makes the diffuser area look cleaner. Well that’s what it looks like if it helps in the decision making process.

Finally got around to doing this very quick project. As promise....

Before...

Right tail light done. Compare from stock left.

Both tail lights complete

To test if reverse lights are obscure with tail facing the sun..

Turn signal..

Ohh and yes, rear reflector smoke tint..

How easy were the lights? I blacked out rear reflectors, the lights are next to be smoked.

I did it all in under 30 mins. Super easy. Water spray bottle, 4 inch squeegee and that's it.

looks great ! , I might cut out the reverse light portion ( I upgraded to LED Reverse ) very Toight ! Like a Tiger !....................try deleting the rear reflectors and see what you think >>>>>>

The reverse lights work just fine, in fact It looks the same. I choose to smoke the rear reflectors rather then delete as I wanted it to still be functional.

if you're driving at night your tails/brakes are lit , they serve no purpose in the daytime ..............try it

I opted to buy my own spary bottle and a vinyl applicator soft plastic sqeegee from Home Depot. All that was purchase from Premium Auto was the Tint Overlays for both the Tail and reflectors.
