IMG_20180413_205037.webp Mod.webp I'm leaning towards covering but interested in community opinion first.

I was kinda torn, but with the de-badged rear and black 'Stinger' logo, it looks badass.

Seeing the full end pic with the 'Stinger' badge just made up my mind, I'm getting the matte black script logo and de-badging mine. I love the clean look! Plus who wants to cover up that paint, its the best color!

I think it looks very good too.

I am now torn between this and the sequential reflectors from K8Stinger Store. I may install those and just use them for the brake light function only to increase visibility. If not, the blackout does look very clean.

Mine is yellow too so thanks for posting!!

Now if only someone would make the full bottom black piece, with an nice looking diffuser, in all carbon fiber..........

I covered mine with flat black vinyl. I bought gloss black vinyl a few weeks ago to re-cover it but haven't gotten around to it yet. In my opinion the butt doesn't look right with two random strips of bright orange on it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Yea, I think there needs to be another option on the poll with the sequential reflectors... I think that's the way I'm leaning. But between the reflectors or blacking them out, it definitely looks better blacked out IMO.

deleting the rear reflectors was one of the first things I did , I used gloss black 3M vinyl and all my rear badging is flat black

Agreed, between stock and blacked out...blacked out. Toss in sequential and i have some thinking to do!

Same area

Same area but different price points. You can spend 10.00 on a role of Vinyl and do a quick DIY. At that price you wouldn't feel bad removing the vinyl and upgrading to the sequential in the future.

Illegal in my state.

Illegal in my state.
It's one of those things like window tint. People break the rules and law enforcement is selective in how they enforce it.

IF you get pulled over for anything - anything at all - they'll add that to it.

I got pulled over once because the state cop was after a car that passed me. He hit the u-turn in the median and came up on my ass I'm guessing because he couldn't get a clean radar reading on the other car. Sat behind me for a bit then hit his lights. I got a warning for my license plate cover. They're illegal in this state. Of course, the car parts stores don't know and don't care. I went in and told them that they're illegal. They still sell them.

I don't like getting pulled over for any reason. Ever. I'll do all within my power to keep it from happening. When there are these stupid little laws out there, I tend to obey them. Anyone else is free to do as they wish. But every time one of these things comes up, I think it's doing someone a service to let them know if they may be illegal where they live.

Ivansito, nice job. Looks killer. Like was posted before, I will probably get the sequential lights like Sgt&me and tint them like yours. And kazz, I feel you bro, I got pulled over on the Jersey turnpike like a million years ago, had limo tint and the highway patrolman told me if I could pull off the tint within 5 minutes he would let me go. I took the ticket, showed up to traffic court and the judge threw out the ticket because the cop never showed up. True, it was a 50/50 bet and the ticket was 350 bucks! And that was in 1988.

No one seemed to mention safety. I'd rather they be there for increased visibility. It may be minor, but it's free. Also, I think it makes it look more 1980's, which is a plus for me. The all black look is more modern, I guess, and looks cool too. They both look nice to me. But, I'll take the added safety. I can understand why someone wouldn't though. Unlike some modifications I've seen, this one actually looks decent.

Thanks all for voting and replying. All the input has really help.

Here is option #2. Smoke reflectors.
Smoked Reflectors.webp
Darker but still functional as a reflector.
Rear Reflector Overlays (2018+ Kia Stinger)

I'm leaning smoke(looks good and still functional) vs full black (looks great but unsafe)

Seems like glass black vinyl (if going that route) would be the best to match the glass of the rear diffuser.

I must say, your car shed looks awesome.
That is actually a professional detailer garage where his car had a ceramic coating applied...
