Titanium wheel studs group buy interest?

So i contacted a company ( idk if i can post a name here?), that is specializing in producing a titanium car parts, for making a set of titanium wheel studs for my stinger. Since it will have to be custom made, the price will be pretty high. But they would be interested in producing at least 10 sets out of hardened gr5 grade titanium, for $250 per set, if there is enough interest here. So let's see if anyone else would be interested in set. And please let's not start a discussion about practicality of that. Thanks.

Probably best to have matching elemental/compound studs and nuts to avoid potential dissimilar metal corrosion. But what are $aving here, weight?

Yes. It is half of the steel weight. As far as galling, i believe you can prevent it with litle anti seize.

While Ti does offer strength comparable to steel at 1/2 the weight, certain steel alloys are still significantly stronger. Ti also tends to be more flexy/stretchy and often requires more material (increasing weight) to be used. In a fixed volume situation, like these studs, it may be more flexy than the comparable steel studs. There's more to it than "just 1/2 the weight". The above issues of dissimilar metals are also important to note.

That is why different grades of titanium alloys are used for different applications. Again let's not discuss that. I would think anyone who might be interested in something like that would know all the pros and cons.It is not a first time titanium is used for that specific application. Quick search can prove it. The biggest downside with titanium wheel studs is the cost. So before i pull the trigger on expensive custom made set, let's see if there's someone else would be interested in that. 250$ for a set is a very good price.
