In your practical experience...
Which tire pressure gauge recommends for its accuracy of readings?
Analog or digital?
I would appreciate brand and store where you purchased it.
Please, a polite request....do not answer my question with another question.....Thanks

I just got this very heavy duty digital. .1 psi increments. (Most cheap digital only go in .5 increments).

It’s really good. $17

I just bought the Dewalt inflator, apparently it’s gauge is accurate enough, and you can add air if needed.

Rhino has an inflator as well, but the reviews are horrible on amazon. Apparently no customer service at all. I'll stick with my Campbell inflator for now..

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Any of these let air out if it's over the setting you want it at? My problem is the dealer keeps over-inflating even when I tell them not to touch, they get one more chance and I give up on them and my free oil changes. I bought a cheap $5 one that allows me to let air out but it takes forever and is analog would like to have one that I set at a pressure and it just lets the air out till it's right.

The Rhino analog gauge will release pressure. However, it won't set to a point and release until that.

How high are they inflating them?

For the sake of spending a few minutes each time you pick the car up, it might be OK to just let it slide (or at least to persist with telling them to stop touching the bloody tyre pressures).

Maybe if they do it again, ask them to remediate it back to the pressures you had in it previously - cost them shop time to learn the lesson, it should happen fast. They should be putting "do not change tyre pressures" on the job card, so the mechanic doing the work really has no excuse.

....I can feel a Johnny Farnham moment coming on......:D

I wish it were just that simple just tell them how to do their job correctly and they will do it. 50PSI which is the max PSI on the tire instead of 36PSI as stated on the sticker in the drivers door seal.

That is insane. What does the service manager say?

I'd be dragging him/her by the ear to the tyre placard and asking if he/she completed junior school reading classes...

I spoke to the service manager about the tires and the fact that their service people don't know what weight or brand of oil is being used. He didn't really seem to care. I've opened a case with Kia about their lackluster work ethic as well as what looks to be head light rub and paint coming off around my headlights to see if I get better service directly from Kia instead of my Kia dealership.

Call the VIP line I keep hearing about over there.

The Stinger is Kia's premium model, and the service should come close to that standard.
